AND INVESTING LEADS TO POSITIVE RESULTS.

WESSEL MANAGEMENT GMBH

Wessel Management GmbH is the vehicle for venture capital and other investments made by the family of Rolf Christof Dienst. For 40 years, we have been investing directly (and through Rolf, founding partner of Wellington Partners, also indirectly) with entrepreneurs, who show the greatest potential to achieve success for interesting ideas and/or technologies.

We particularly like to engage with companies, which contribute to the wellbeing and prosperity of society in general. We mostly invest in conjunction with a small group of co-investors – all experienced entrepreneurs themselves with specific industry knowledge and wide-ranging personal networks. Together with these partners, we support our portfolio companies actively.

We often engage at an early stage and our own investments typically range from 1% to 25% of a portfolio company’s share capital. While we love accompanying entrepreneurs on their journey to commercial success, human interactions and ethical aspects equally define our partnerships

We truly believe that positive thinking, acting and investing leads to positive results.

Our team manages a portfolio of 40 direct investments. We consider ourselves as a very active and hands-on investor, providing support in following areas:

Fundraising
Network
Operational support (interim CFO)
Strategic Guidance & Positioning
Acquisition Process & Exits
Hiring

We like to invest in dynamic entrepreneurs, interesting disruptive business models and opportunities where we believe our know-how, network and collaboration efforts can truly move the needle. Geographically, our investments are focused in Europe, with a growing number of investments in South East Asia.

A separate subsidiary, Paarl Grundbesitzverwaltungs GmbH, manages in excess of EUR100m of real estate investments.
